After many days of coding,designing,debugging,testing and implementing your android app is now ready to publish on google play store. Follow the steps and it will take only 10 mins to publish your app on play store.



All you need is ...

1) A completed .apk file of your app created in eclipse without error.

2) Internet connection

3) You need to pay $25 one time charge to play store by credit/debit card for google developer license 

4) two screenshots of your android app

Follow The Steps ...


1) Open Eclips


Open Eclipse first and on the left side you will see your project there . Ensure that the project should be error free.

Note :- If you have already exported or created a .apk file then you should skip to step 10.


2) Select "Export"


Now You need to right click on the project and select Export from the menu.

A new dialogue box named export will appear .


3) Select Export Type


When the export dialogue box appear, open the folder named android and then click on Export android application.

Now click on Next

A dialogue box named Export android application will open in place of old dialogue box.


4) Check For Error


Export android application will look for error in your project. If there are no error found then it will say no error found and then click on next.

Note :- If there are errors then you need to solve it first and then start the process again.


5) Enter KeyStroke


In the next dialogue box you will be told to enter keystroke. Keystroke encrypts a stamp into final application file . It is a type of account.

Note:- If you have earlier created a keystroke then you need to skip to the 8th step.

If You have not created a keystroke then you will have to create a new one by clicking on cable create keystroke.


6) Create New Keystroke


Now click on browse button and save you keystroke . The best place to save your keystroke is in the same folder where your project is located. Save it with the name you can remember easily.\


7) Choose a Password


Okay so now you will have to choose a password and keep it in safe place .

Note :- If you will loose your keystroke password then you will not be able to release any new updates of your android app on play store.

Enter the password and click on next .


8) Choose a Alias


Now choosing a alias is very important. you have to fill out password, alias and validate the fields on key encryption screen and one field from certificate issuer section which is located below.

You should use your name as alias so that you can remember it easily, Now again you need to choose your password which you remember easily. In the validate field the number which you choose will be the number of years your android app will be available on the play store.


9) Choose File Export Destination


Now all the steps are completed and it is time to export your app and select a folder to save your android application package file or the .apk file

save it in the folder where your project is located so it is easy to remember and locate late on.

Now click finish and exit eclipse.

It is now time to upload your android app .apk on the google play store 


10) Navigation to Google play store developer site


Open your browser and search on google search engine for Developer Console - Google Play .

Now click on the link show in the green box and you will be redirected to your developer dashboard on play store .
