A Xml sitemap is a list of directory of all web pages present in your website . Sitemap helps search engine like google,bing and yahoo to find pages on your site which search both may have missed during crawling of website
A sitemap should contain and mention all the pages present in website directory
If here exists no sitemap of your website then it becomes difficult for search engine to index web pages

GENERATE SITEMAP FOR BLOGGER
- Open Sitemap generator and type the address of your domain or blogspot (e.g www.xyz.com)
2. Click on create sitemap and it will automatically generate text for your sitemap . Now copy all the text and follow the next step
3. Go to bloggers dashboard -> Settings -> Search Preferences -> now click on enable custom robots.txt option -> Paste the copied text
If you want to switch to Wordpress then you can upload your sitemap to your website server and add it on to webmaster tools
you can convert you blogger to Wordpress using permalink which i will discuss in the next article
