Kickass torrent is same as the pirate bay and has many times got into allegations for providing pirated copies of software and movies . The website was taken down by the Somalian authorities and was not accessible for users since 4 am and is still unavailable , but kickass is live up and running with a new domain named kickass.to
For the second time the government has taken action against such download website , last year the pirate bay server was raided by the swedish police and several servers were taken away but this did not stop them as the website can back very strongly with a new server and location.
It seems like the world of piracy is on target and all the websites hosting pirated material may face a legal issue soon .
